you start by introducing yourself for the lovely viewers?
(Landed|b0sH) I’m Rob "b0sH" Spalton, I’m 22 yrs old and I am
the CL of Landed!
Ok so
what roster are you currently working from?
(Landed|b0sH) We've got a pretty active 6 man lineup of Mx, b0sH, Smittins, Jack, Toomy and KhAoS
How
are KhAoS and Toomy fitting in with the rest of the team?
With KhAoS and Toomy both bringing with them good experience to the team surely they can only strengthen it, would you say this is potentially the best formula for success you’ve had?
(Landed|b0sH) Yes by far, both of them have played in teams that have beaten the best the UK has to offer and that can never be a bad thing. Both Toms have buckets of experience and aim to back it up. When we were discussing players we brought up a list of the best possible players we would want clanned or not and both toms were at the top of this list
You’re currently competing in both ESL’s UK competitions they’re running, but let’s start with the CSCL qualifiers, you’re seeded #4 and are playing Caution in the quarter finals which is set to be an interesting match, how do you think you’ll fare against the new Caution line up?
(Landed|b0sH) Well of course we are hoping to perform as we should and push through to the next round but CAu could be a bit of a wildcard. Aaron (Realf1re) is a good leader and I’ve played both with and against him. The rest of the CAu lineup I can't say I know a lot about bar various rumours and accusations flying about, these must always be taken with a pinch of salt though. If I were a betting man I’d put my money on a 16/7 result to Landed.
If successful there is a likely chance that you will have to face up to Lastchance in semi finals which has been a much anticipated match in many peoples eyes, with the rivalry there to try and push them off that #3 it could add a bit of spice to things, what would be your thought coming into this match?
(Landed|b0sH) LastChance are a fantastic team no doubt and they've held
a pretty steady hold on that place just below 4K and TAG for a while now. I
think it could shape up to be a hell of a match and would probably come down to
who puts in the most work for the match itself. I think both teams have a lot
of mutual respect for each other.
Ok, lets move onto the ESL CS UK cup, which they are also running, where you’re seeded #2 and past the first round with out to much trouble and now set to face Harmless or Flame-Instinct in the last 16, on paper it would seem you should progress to the quarters with relative ease, do you think either of these teams will cause a problem?
(Landed|b0sH) I can't say I really know anything about either of these teams. I remember the old Harmless team when AWOL and that were around but I can’t say I've seen anything recently of their new lineup. I would hope to progress through this without any real problems.
Well a successful result in round 2 would see you matched up against either 2s2p or Wildstyle, either way I think it could be an exciting fixture, of the two which would you prefer to be paired up against in the quarter finals providing you get there of course?
(Landed|b0sH) Well both teams have players with enough skill to prove difficult opponents. In many ways I’d like to face off vs 2s2p so that we could see "the MaiM" Eeon in action vs his old running buddies. That match could not only be decent but I'm sure would provide some amusing banter in between rounds.
Looking a little further down the line now there is a chance that if things go well you could face up to Team Drake in the semi finals, one of the favourites for this competition it would make good viewing, how much do you know of Team Drake and do you feel if the match was to come about you could bring down the Icelandic superstars?
(Landed|b0sH) We've come across Drake a couple of times in pcws and Coopsy knows them well from the CPL quals. I cant say I’ve seen them since they had a couple of roster changes with iCe but I'm sure they'll be coming prepared and wanting to win as much as we will. A match vs a team like that could very well come down to what map its being played and which team gets the luck of the draw on the day.
Do
you fancy your chances for the ESL double, would be a good achievement to bring
home silverware in both competitions, with a potentially tough road to either
of the finals do you feel you can bring home at least one title?
(Landed|b0sH) Well we're aiming for both but the schedule is proving
quite difficult, having 3/4 matches a week has proved difficult getting in the amount
of practise needed in order to both live up to expectations and be able to
perform at the level needed. We've kept it pretty relaxed so far and 2night
will be the 1st night we really get down to business as far as tactics goes. If
we had to choose between the 2 I’d want the ESL CSCL quals rather than the UK
cup so that we get to play and get coverage from the league later on.
When ESL is all rapped, what are you planning on entering next online and LAN?
(Landed|b0sH) Online wise we've applied for Eurocup and 2night will find out whether we've been successful, if we're not accepted for that we'll do the UKIE instead, as well as hopefully ESL shud we win the qualifier. LAN wise we're attending GGL in Feb to defend our little gold crown. After that we'd be looking towards ESWC quals when they've been announced
